MES reports closed roads in Armenia
Some roads are closed in the territory of Armenia, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reported. Roadways leading to Lake Kari, Amberd fortress of Aragatsotn province are closed. Black ice is formed and fog is noticed in Vardenyats pass, the source said.
It is snowing in Saravan-Zanger section of Vayots dzor province and in Gavar, Vardenis, Chambarak towns of Gegharqunik province. Fog is nobserved in "Chayni" turns and in Ashtarak town of Aragatsotn province.
According to the information provided by Georgian state bodies, Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open for all types of vehicles. According to the information provided by Armenia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the decision of the entry ban on foreign nationals to Georgia remains in force. The ban does not apply to the carriage transportation.
