‘Today is a day of mourning’: Gagik Tsarukyan refuses to answer reporters’ questions
Armenian opposition forces making up the Homeland Salvation Movement started a rally at the Liberty Square in Yerevan on Saturday afternoon to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) leader Gagik Tsarukyan, too, is taking part in the opposition rally.
“Today is a day of mourning. We will answer all questions after it ends,” he told reporters.
When asked to comment on the decision of Nikol Pashinyan to lead a mourning procession to the Yerablur Military Pantheon despite objections by the mothers of soldiers killed in the Artsakh war, the opposition leader promised to answer all the questions, but not today.
“Today is a day of mourning,” Tsarukyan said again.
