Led by Armenian Prime Minster Nikol Pashiyan, a mourning procession started in Yerevan on Saturday afternoon. People are marching from the Republic Square to the Yerablur Military Pantheon to commemorate the fallen soldiers of the Artsakh war.
National Assembly Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan and other officials are also accompanying the premier during the march.
Earlier, human rights activist Ruben Melikyan said that he had received dozens of reports about the total use of “administrative, oligarchic and sectarian resources" to ensure the participation of people in the memorial march.
Military expert Karen Vrtanesyan also said that administrative resources were used, with many people forced to participate in the march through blackmail.
During the procession, someone shouted from the sidewalk: "Traitor, you surrendered the lands!"
