
240 new coronavirus cases, 28 deaths reported in Armenia on December 21
Armenia has confirmed 240 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 154,065 as of 11 a.m. Monday, December 21, the Ministry of Health reports.
644 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 133,176.
The coronavirus death toll has increased by 28 to 2,656. Two patients carrying the virus died from other causes in the past 24 hours.
The number of active cases is 17,579. As many as 567,755 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
