Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a member of the opposition Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF, Dashnaktsutyun) party, has been summoned to the Investigative Committee of Armenia, he said on Wednesday.

“Late last night I was notified that in order to give an explanation within the framework of the reports being prepared, I was summoned to the Yerevan investigation department of Armenia's Investigative Committee,” he wrote on Facebook.

“It is probably connected with yesterday’s police statement, according to which the police had incomprehensibly observed some features of a crime in my speech during the rally.

“Today I will pay a call to the Yerevan investigation department and will update the public on the process. I announce once again that it’s impossible to silence us through these methods. The struggle continues with greater determination,” the opposition figure said, urging all to gather at the Republic Square in Yerevan at 4pm today for another rally organized by the Homeland Salvation Movement.
