Over 480 more refugees return to their homes in Artsakh
A total of 488 people on Thursday were delivered by buses from Yerevan to Stepanakert, Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). The buses were accompanied by patrols of the Russian peacekeeping contingent and military police, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The Russian peacekeepers provide the security of the return of the citizens to their places of permanent residence, the humanitarian aid, the restoration of civil infrastructure facilities. Russian peacekeepers conduct round-the-clock monitoring of the situation at twenty-three observation posts.
In total, more than 43,000 refugees have already returned to their places of permanent residence in Nagorno-Karabakh.
