Aronian to face Carlsen in first round of Airthings Masters
The Airthings Masters online chess tournament, the second event of the Champions Chess Tour, kicks off on Saturday, 26 December.
Armenian GM Levon Aronian will face Magnus Carlsen of Norway in the first round of the tournament, the Armenian National Olympic Committee reported on Friday.
The prize fund for the tournament is $200,000
The Airthings Masters will have 12 leading players in its lineup and will run until January 3.
