The only reason for Pashinyan to go to snap elections is for preserving own post, politician says
"Pashinyan is apparently exerting utmost efforts to preserve his post, since he has no internal and external support. That is the reason he has decided to urgently engage in consultations with political forces" member of Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Karine Achemyan told an interview with Armlur news outlet.
"He [Nikol PAshinyan] thinks any political force will make a step and even discuss with him the topic of snap elections. Any force, that agrees to that, will self-destroy as a political force, since its name will be connected with capitulation, defeats, captives and in general, the disaster Armenia faces today. Months and years ago no Armenian thought we would face today's dire reality. To me, the only motive for Pashinyan to hold snap elections is to preserve own post and secondly, to complete his dark undertakings," Achemyan added.
To remind, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced on Friday an intention to hold snap parliamentary elections in 2021 and invited all parliamentary and interested extra-parliamentary forces for consultations.
