Defense Ministry to find out additional information about reports of military actions in Artsakh's Togh village
Azerbaijani media outlets reported on Sunday about resumed military actions between Armenia and Azerbaijani military near Togh village of Hadrut in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), which resulted in casualties on both sides. To note, the village is under the full control of the Azerbaijani armed forces.
Armenia's Defense Ministry has commented on the reports.
"The Artsakh Defense Army strictly observes the ceasefire regime, and no military unit has been involved in military actions in the mentioned area. Furthermore, no emergency incident was recorded with participation of the Defense Army units," the ministry said in a released statement.
"Nevertheless, the Armenia side tries to find out additional information, not ruling the possibility we are dealing with an Azerbaijani information provocation," added the source.
