Turkish NBA star Enes Kanter posts ‘I love you all’ in Armenian
NBA's Turkish star Enes Kanter, an outspoken critic of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has posted “I love you all” in Armenian on Instagram.
The basketball player is constantly targeted by pro-Erdogan groups.
The Twitter account of one of the largest Turkish groups in the United States, the Turkish-American National Steering Committee (TASC), has recently been suspended for targeting Enes Kanter. The Turkish government accuses Kanter of supporting Muslim cleric Fethullah Gulen.
“Erdogan's propaganda machine in the US, TASC, and a few of their members have been suspended/banned on Twitter for trying to promote lies and slander. Must hurt when you can't spew your lies in a free society,” Kanter’s manager Hank Fetic tweeted.
