Russian peacekeepers present New Year gifts to students of two schools in Stepanakert
On the eve of the New Year, the servicemen of the Peacekeeping Operations Control Centre held a humanitarian action in secondary schools No. 2 and No. 12 in Artsakh's (Nagorno-Karabakh) capital city of Stepanakert.
During the humanitarian action, Russian peacekeepers handed school backpacks, stationery and accessories, as well as sets with sweets to the students, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
Each backpack contains pens, colored pencils, sketchbooks, notebooks, markers, notepads and diaries. Together with the kits, the Russian peacekeepers handed over postcards with New Year's wishes and congratulations, which were written by the Russian youth army for the children of Nagorno-Karabakh.
Russian peacekeepers have already carried out similar actions in several schools of Artsakh.
