The opposition march demanding Pashinyan's resignation started in Yerevan
The opposition march, initiated by the Homeland Salvation Movement with demand of Nikol Pashinyan's resignation, has started on Tuesday from Vahagn Davtyan park in Arabkir district of Yerevan.
As the member of ARF Dashnaksutyun Gegham Manukyan announced, their demand is the same - Pashinyan should leave the post of the prime minister.
"Despite all their assurances that the authorities have ensured all rights for the opposition, they continue using repressive methods to suppress us, in particular, through the police, the Investigative Committee and the Special Investigation Service," Manukyan said, recalling the police actions on Monday, where dozens of opposition activists who were exercising their constitutional rights were detained during the rally near the National Assembly.
Manukyan informed that citizens plan to march to the building of the Special Investigation Service to present their complaints to strictly uphold the law.
In Manukyan's words, their demand to have "Armenia without Nikol" will not stop, since 'the mad person who occupies the post of the prime minister, resorts to madness every day and endangers the life in the country.'
