Ombudsman’s representatives visit Armenians who returned from Azerbaijani captivity
Upon the instruction of Armenia’s Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) Arman Tatoyan, the defender's representatives, including his staff doctor, visited the Armenian prisoners of war (POWs) who returned from Azerbaijani captivity on Monday, the Ombudsman’s office reported on Tuesday.
The four Armenian prisoners held in Azerbaijan were repatriated at the mediation of Russia and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC),
The ombudsman’s representatives visited them at the hospital to examine their health and to take necessary actions, the office said.
