RPA rules out any political discussion with the ruling regime
The Executive Body of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) convened a session on Tuesday, chaired by former president Serzh Sargsyan. As the party said in a statement, the current situation in Armenia and the new challenges threatening Artsakh in the context of the continuously compressing geopolitical environment were discussed during the session.
The RPA participation in any political discussion with the ruling regime was ruled out, the source said, adding the participants reaffirmed that the cornerstone step for state recovery remains the immediate withdrawal of the ruling regime.
Based on the exchange of thoughts decisions about further activities of the party as well as within the Homeland Salvation Movement will be made in the beginning of the coming year. The need to actively involve with international partners on the exchange of POWs, other detainees and bodies of killed was stressed.
