Earthquake recorded in Georgia, tremors felt in Armenia
Magnitude 3.3 earthquake struck Georgia, 20km northwest of the city of Dmanis last night, at 02:26 local time, according to Armenian Emergency Ministry's Seismic Protection Service. Geographical coordinates of the epicenter were northern latitude 41.42⁰ and eastern longitude 44.01⁰.
The earthquake measured 4-5 magnitude in the epicenter on the depth of 10km. The tremors were felt in the Armenian villages of Paghaghbyur and Metsavan of Lori province, measuring 2-3 points on the Richter scale.
An official report from Georgia said that the earthquake caused no casualties or damage.
