Aliyev himself cannot reach 'his capital' in Nagorno-Karabakh - Vardan Voskanyan
Expert in Iranian studies Vardan Voskanyan has commented on Azerbaijani president Ilham ALiyev's latest statement about declaring the town of Shushi the cultural capital of Azerbaijan.
"I understand that the dictator in Baku can declare Shushi the cultural capital of not only an artificial formation named Azerbaijan but also the universe. However, without the permission of Russian peacekeepers Aliyev himself cannot reach 'his capital' at present," Voskanyan wrote on Facebook.
The expert added that a similar situation is the case with Goris-Kapan roadway in Armenia, which is now at the frontline.
To note, Shushi was occupied by the Azerbaijani military during the recent 44-day war.
