Closed roads reported in Armenia
Some roads in Armenia are impassable as of Saturday evening due to bad weather conditions, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
In particular, the roadways leading to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari of Aragatsotn Province are closed to traffic.
Fog has descended over Abovyan region, as well as Nor Geghi, Buzhakan and Teghenik villages of Kotayk Province.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open for all types of vehicles.
The ban on entry of foreigners into Georgia remains in force. The ban does not apply to the freight transport.
The ministry strongly urges drivers to use snow tires.
