MP Sofya Hovsepyan quits ruling My Step bloc
Lawmaker Sofya Hovsepyan on Friday announced her decision to leave the ruling My Step bloc.
In a post on Facebook, Hovsepyan also said that she will serve as an independent MP from now on.
“This does not mean that I will fail to fulfil my mission, but that I will continue to work with the same dedication as I have done so far. I will be supportive of any patriotic and pro-state cause, as I have been, and I will oppose all the issues that will contradict the interests of our country and nation,” she wrote.
“I ask those who trust me to feel free to turn to me over any matter and expect my support,” the MP added.
