
Armenia reports 355 fresh coronavirus cases, 15 deaths on January 12
Armenia has confirmed 355 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 162,643 as of 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 12, the Ministry of Health reports.
729 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 150,602.
The coronavirus death toll has increased by 15 to 2,941. Five patients carrying the virus died from other causes in the past 24 hours.
The number of active cases is 8,393. As many as 611,815 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
