Around 48,700 refugees returned to their homes in Artsakh - Russian Defense Ministry
Russian peacekeepers escorted another convoy of refugees who returned to their homes in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) from the territory of Armenia, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
According to the source, 235 refugees were transported by buses from Yerevan to Stepanakert over the past day.
A total of 48,694 refugees have already returned to their places of permanent residence in Nagorno-Karabakh.
According to the source, the Russian peacekeepers provide the security of the return of the citizens to their places of permanent residence, the humanitarian aid, the restoration of civil infrastructure facilities. Round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and monitoring of compliance with the ceasefire regime at twenty-three observation posts are being conducted.
