A national operator for marking of goods with means of identification has been established under a decision of the government, Armenia's State Revenue Committee reported on Wednesday.
According to the source, it was set down that pursuant to paragraph 2 of clause 2 of Decision No 72 of August 8, 2019 of Eurasian Economic Committee, Center of Development of Perspective Technologies-Armenia, Tsentr Razvitiya Perspektivnykh Tekhnologiy and IMark limited liability companies acting under consortium are considered national operators for marking of goods with means of identification within the EAEU.
Center of Development of Perspective Technologies-Armenia LLC (location address: 49-22 Arshakunyats, Yerevan) acts on behalf of the above-mentioned legal entities.
It noted that that a competition to select national operator for marking of goods with means of identification within the EAEU took place at SRC, and Center of Development of Perspective Technologies-Armenia LLC was announced the winner.
The Committee reminds that import ban has been in place in the territory of Russia on shoes without marking since July 1, 2020, and on light industry goods without marking since January 1, 2021. The Government of Armenia has established an entity in charge of marking – a national operator - within the EAEU. After receiving marking codes from the operator of the country setting a marking requirement the national operator will provide them to Armenian economic entities and will organize exchange of information.
