Armenian defense minister meets with Belarusian ambassador
Armenian Minister of Defense Vagharshak Harutyunyan on Thursday hosted new Ambassador of Belarus to Armenia Alexander Konyuk, the ministry said in a press release.
The defense minister congratulated the ambassador on assuming the mission in Armenia and wished him new success.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on global and regional security issues. The officials discussed issues of Armenian-Belarusian cooperation in the defense sphere, prospects of further development of cooperation, as well as measures planned within the framework of multilateral formats.
Vagharshak Harutyunyan expressed confidence that due to the newly appointed ambassador’s active and fruitful work, the Armenian-Belarusian interstate relations and political dialogue will be further strengthened and brought to a new level.
