Armenian opposition movement initiates visits to provinces
The Homeland Salvation Movement comprising Armenia's 17 opposition parties has initiated visits to the country’s provinces.
In a statement on Thursday, the movement said its representatives on Friday will visit Armenia’s second largest city of Gyumri, where a meeting with opposition candidate for interim prime minister Vazgen Manukyan will take place at the Aragats Sports and Cultural Center at 6pm.
"Dear citizens of Gyumri, we attach importance to your participation in the meeting, during which you will have an opportunity to discuss the issues worrying you with Vazgen Manukyan," the statement said.
