Search operations not to resume in Artsakh on Friday
The search operations will not resume in Artsakh on Friday, the head of the press department of Artsakh’s State Service of Emergency Situation, Hunan Tadevosyan, told Panorama.am, adding Azerbaijani officials said certain works are still to be carried out on their side.
Tadevosyan said that it is not still clear whether or not the operations will resume on Saturday.
Azerbaijan requested Armenia to suspend the search operations for a day on Thursday to carry out works which they did not want “the enemy to observe”.
Incidentally, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his wife today paid a visit to the fortress town of Shushi occupied by the Azerbaijani forces during the 2020 war against Artsakh.
