The Armenian Ski Championships to kick off in Ashotsk
The first stage of the Armenian Ski Championships will kick off on January 16 in Ashotsk, Shirak province of Armenia, the National Olympic Committee reported. The event will bring together athletes from Gyumri, Vanadzor, and Ashotsk.
According to the source, on Saturday, skiers will compete in men's and women's classic style events. The freestyle skating is scheduled for Sunday. The second stage of the Championship will be held on February 12-14.
According to the source, the Championship is a qualification event with the winners to participate in the World Ski Championships slated for February-March 2021 in Germany.
