About 100 peacekeepers at observation posts in Nagorno-Karabakh vaccinated "Sputnik-V"
Military medics of the Russian Peacekeeping Contingent (RPC) have started vaccinating peacekeepers at observation posts in the Lachin corridor and along the line of contact in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Russian Defense Ministry reported. During the day, mobile teams of RPC doctors vaccinated about 100 servicemen at three observation posts in the Martuni and Mardakerd districts of Nagorno-Karabakh.
In total, about 2 thousand doses of the vaccine were delivered to Nagorno-Karabakh. This number is enough to cover the entire personnel of the peacekeepers. The vaccine was delivered in special thermal containers, which ensured the safety of the vaccine during transportation.
As the source said, vaccination is carried out in two stages. During the period from January 14 to 31, all personnel will receive the first component of the vaccine, and from February 1 to 28, the second component will be injected.
