Armenia sees decline in pastry, ice cream production
The pastry production volumes have dropped in Armenia in January-November 2020, the country's Statistical Committee reported in its updated data. According to the source, the total volumes of pastry production, including cakes and waffle stood at 11 thousand 296.9 tons, which is down by 16.4% over the indicated period of the previous year.
As to the production volumes of chocolate and sugar pastry, they dropped in the past 11 months by 13.2%, standing at 8 thousand 733 tons.
A total of 12 thousand 846.9 liters of ice cream were produced in Armenia in January-November 2020, down by 2.7% over the previous year.
