Homeland Defender’s Rehabilitation Center equipped with modern prosthetics laboratory for the needs of wounded soldiers
One of the Hayastan All Armenian Fund's most urgent priorities is the rehabilitation of our wounded soldiers, the Fund said in a statement.
With the support of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, the Homeland Defender’s Rehabilitation Center has been equipped with a state of the art gait and prosthetics laboratory. Servicemen injured during the 44-day war will be provided with modern prosthetics free of charge. At the initial stage of the project, 100 prostheses will be sent to Armenia that will enable the Rehabilitation Center to treat more servicemen.
As the source added, on January 23, another fundraising event organized by System of a Down band will take place. Part of the proceeds will be directed to the purchase of 30 functional, high-quality prostheses for hands.
