Some roads partly icy in Armenia
Some roads are closed in Armenia as of Saturday evening due to adverse weather conditions, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
In particular, the roadways leading from Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari of Aragatsotn Province are shut down.
Vardenyats Pass is closed only for trailer trucks.
Aparan-Aragats, Saravan-Zanger, Aghavnadzor-Areni highways, the roads leading to the town of Jermuk, as well as roads of Syunik Province are partly icy.
Snowfall is reported in Talin town of Aragatsotn Province.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is closed only for trucks, with 760 trucks stuck on the Russian side.
