Mikayel Minasyan: I stand with all those struggling against Nikol Pashinyan
Armenia’s former Ambassador to the Holy See Mikayel Minasyan has reiterated his support to all detractors of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
In a post on Telegram on Friday, the ex-ambassador said he is often asked about his attitude to one or another politician or various political events, including opposition rallies and discussions, adding he stands with all those who are fighting for Pashinyan's removal from power.
“I am also often asked about the different and often contradictory opinions of Nicol's critics about me personally. No matter what these people say about me and regardless of their past actions, they are still better than Nikol. Please don't ask such questions again!” the ex-envoy said.
“I stand with all those who are struggling against Nikol, haven’t teamed up with him or legitimized his actions, do not make deals and are not sold,” Minasyan said, expressing readiness to forgive all those political figures opposed to the premier who have made offensive remarks about him.
“The betrayal of the current authorities forced all patriots, regardless of their political views, to become ardent oppositionists. I am confident that after removing the traitor from office, we will have plenty of time to argue about our differences. But before that we have a common task – to nullify the influence of those who prevent us from rebuilding our homeland,” he said.
