Parliament approves legislation enabling single window system in social assistance programs
Armenian parliament approved on Wednesday legislation, which offers single window services for social assistance programs. The legislative package of the law “On Social Assistance”, amendments to the law “On public Administration Bodies” and the law “On State Pensions” was approved by lawmakers with 99 in favor, 8 against and one absteined votes.
The new legislation is aimed at making the process of offering beneficiaries of state social program a more transparent and convenient service.
The law, initiated by the Cabinet of Ministers and presented by "Bright Armenia" faction, was earlier debated in the first and second readings at the extraordinary session of the National Assembly.
