First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan receives U.S. Ambassador to Armenia
Armenia's first President Levon Ter-Petrosyan met on Friday with U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy. As the Armenian National Congress said in a press statement, during more than an hour-long meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues, concerning the situation in Armenia and Artsakh.
The importance of humanitarian assistance delivered by the international community, and the U.S in particular, was bilaterally highlighted. Among urgent issues discussed were the return of captives held in Azerbaijan and addressing the social needs of Armenian, Artsakh population - disabled and injured servicemen, the family members of those killed during the war among them.
