Defense ministry reports sporadic shots in certain areas of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border
The operational situation remained stable along the entire length of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on February 14 and 15. No border incidents were registered, the Defense Ministry of Armenia reported on Monday. The ministry, however, added, that in some border areas irregular shots fired mostly into the air were registered which have not changed the operative tactical situation, the ministry said.
According to the information provided by the National Security Service (NSS), no incidents were recorded on Vorotan-Davit Bek section of Goris-Kapan interstate highway under the responsibility of the NSS border troops.
The Armenian Armed Forces and the NSS border troops control the situation along the entire border area and fulfill the set tasks, the ministry said.
