Gegham Manukyan calls on citizens to join the nationwide rally on February 20
The Coordinator at the opposition Homeland Salvation Movement Gegham Manukyan called Armenians to gather at Liberty square on February 20 for a nationwide rally to demand the resignation of PM Pashinyan. Manukyan shared a video message on Facebook, informing the rally will start at 15:00 Yerevan time.
"This year, February 20 will be a decisive day in my life. I was one among the thousands of people in the Liberty square on February 20 back in 1988, who stood for Artsakh and for the cause of liberation. The pride and memory of those days has been with me since then," Manukyan said in his message.
In the words of the opposition representative, the war has not ended in Artsakh on November 9 and continues every day and second. "Every day we reveal new agreements that have been reached secretly and are being implemented by the person who occupies the post of Armenia's prime minister," said Manukyan.
He called on citizens to join the rally on February 20 for the sake of the future, for the sovereignty of Armenia and Artsakh.
"This is not a rally for power, or bringing someone to power, to ensure a prosperous life for someone. This is the rally for our future," stressed the ARFD member.
