Pashinyan, Putin discuss implementation of provisions of November 9 joint statement
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the premier’s office reported.
The two leaders discussed the implementation of the provisions of the joint statement of November 9, 2020. In particular, the need for early repatriation of prisoners of war, hostages and other detainees was stressed on both sides. The Armenian side voiced concern over Azerbaijan’s failure to fully comply with the requirements of the relevant clause of the joint statement.
Reference was made to other issues on the agenda of the Armenian-Russian bilateral cooperation, including the possibilities for developing interaction.
