Anti-Armenian billboard on Philadelphia highway removed
An anti-Armenian billboard on Philadelphia’s I-95 interstate highway has been removed, the Armenian Assembly of America reports.
“Through our collective efforts the anti-Armenian and anti-truthful billboard on Philadelphia’s I-95 was REMOVED. Thank you to everyone who contacted Lamar Advertising Company!” the assembly tweeted.
The billboard, that recently appeared on the highway with the support of MUSIAD USA, an organization of Turkish-American businessmen and industrialists, cynically stated, “Azerbaijanis (and Turks) are ready to live in harmony with Armenians. ‘How about Armenians?’.”
For decades now, both Turkey and Azerbaijan have spent millions of dollars to fabricate a mass campaign of lies that overlooks all of their atrocities and attempts to place blame on the victims, the Armenian Assembly said earlier.
