15 Azerbaijani killed in mine explosions since the end of the Karabakh war
Mine explosions in the Nagorno-Karabakh war zone have killed 15 Azerbaijanis since the trilateral statement was signed on November 10 ending the recent war in Nagorno-Karabakh.
In a statement, Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General’s Office said 15 Azerbaijanis, including five Azerbaijani soldiers, were killed by mines, Ermenihaber reported. The statement said 52 soldiers and eight civilians were also injured in the explosions.
The office cautioned civilians from entering the areas until the region is cleared of mines.
