Armenian opposition rally to be held in Yerevan today
A rally organized by the Homeland Salvation Movement, a coalition of 17 opposition parties, will take place at Yerevan’s Liberty Square on Saturday, February 20.
“The enemy continues to gradually seize our lands. Dozens of our servicemen remain in captivity. The country's economy continues to fall day by day. Armenia is on the verge of destruction.
“Do not tolerate it all, stand up and join the people who are fighting for dignity. We have a single demand – the resignation of the traitor [referring to PM Nikol Pashinyan]. Together we will save our homeland," the movement said in a statement.
A number of political, public and cultural figures have urged the people to join today’s rally.
