Armenia’s COVID-19 cases reach 172,456 on March 2
Armenia has confirmed 240 new cases of coronavirus in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 172,456 as of 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, the Ministry of Health reports.
227 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 163,738.
The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 5 to 3,200. Another patient carrying the virus died from other cause in the past 24 hours. The total number of such cases is 818.
The number of active cases is 4,700. As many as 736,590 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
