Retaining power by non-political steps cannot last long – Tigran Abrahamyan
Head of the Henaket Analytical Center Tigran Abrahamyan on Tuesday touched upon a rally organized by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in central Yerevan on Monday, calling attention to the “extensive use of administrative resources”.
“Isn't Nikol Pashinyan aware of or hasn’t he ordered the extensive use of administrative resource to ensure the presence of 15-20 thousand people at Republic Square?
“Doesn't Pashinyan know that the "mass” rally was ensured through great efforts, even with the use of various official vehicles as a means of transporting people to the area of the gathering?
“Doesn't Pashinyan know or remember in what political situation the authorities are forced to resort to such steps? I think he knows,” Abrahamyan wrote on Facebook.
“He knows it well, but goes for it, because there is no other way. The political game is over, but Pashinyan shows no signs of leaving, thus transferring the game to a non-political arena.
“Retaining power by non-political steps can only be short-term in nature. Pashinyan will either quickly return to the political arena after drawing an appropriate conclusion, or we will finally lose the country,” the analyst said.
