Artsakh resumes search operations for war casualties
Search and rescue teams of Artsakh’s State Service of Emergency Situations on Wednesday resumed their operations in the Azerbaijani-held territories to find casualties of the 2020 war and those missing in action.
The search operations are being conducted in south-eastern border zone under Azerbaijani control in Martuni region and in Varanda region today, the service said.
Since the start of the ceasefire, a total of 1,490 bodies of fallen troops and civilians have been recovered from the former combat zones.
