Protesters demanding Pashinyan's resignation approached the Government building
The participants of the protest march, demanding the resignation of PM Nikol Pashinyan and his cabinet approached the Government building at the Republic Square in Yerevan. The coordinator of the opposition Homeland Salvation Movement addressed the public: "The mad person who is in this building overthrows the Constitution every day. Our Movement has assumed another mission to restore the Constitutional order in the country and preserve it," Saghatelyan announced.
He next appealed to the Prime Minister warning against establishing what he called 'a dictatorship of one person.'
"Even if you manage to remove two-three militaries from top positions, you will never succeed to subjugate the Armed Forces of Armenia to your treacherous plans. For the sake of the country, the Armenian people, for Artsakh and the salvation of the Homeland you should leave. The person who is in this building is the enemy of the Armenian people," Saghatelyan stated.
The participants of the protest then started chanting "Armenia without Nikol" and continued the march.
