Around 500 trucks accumulated on Russian side of Larsi checkpoint
Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is closed to trucks due to adverse weather conditions, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations said on Friday, citing the Georgian and Russian authorities.
Nearly 500 trucks have been accumulated on the Russian side of the Larsi checkpoint, according to the information provided by the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia.
Drivers are strongly urged to use snow tires.
