Police in Armenia cordon off education ministry building ahead of Pashinyan’s visit
Police forces have been deployed near the building of Armenia’s Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport ahead of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s visit on Wednesday.
Although no opposition rally is expected to take place in the area, special police forces have cordoned off the building of the education ministry located just several hundred meters away from the government building.
Incidentally, this is not the first time that police cordons have guarded the government buildings and accompanied Pashinyan when he walks from one building to another.
