Armenian FM talked over the phone with his Uruguay counterpart
Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Aivazian held a phone conversation on Saturday with Foreign Minister of Uruguay Francisco Bustillo Bonasso. As the press department at the foreign ministry reported, the ministers exchanged thoughts on the Armenian-Uruguayan cooperation agenda in bilateral and multilateral formats.
The Ministers commended the high level relations between Armenia and Uruguay, emphasizing the mutual willingness to make practical efforts to further expand and enrich the agenda of cooperation. In this context, both sides emphasized the important role of the Armenian community in Uruguay in strengthening bilateral friendship.
During the phone conversation, the Foreign Minister of Armenia and Estonia discussed issues of regional and international security and peace. The protection of human rights during conflict situations was stressed.
