Arsen Mkrtchyan elected as Court of Cassation judge
Lawmakers voted to elect Arsen Mkrtchyan as a new judge of the Court of Cassation at a parliament sitting on Wednesday.
A total of 102 MPs took part in the voting, Chairman of the Counting Commission Vahagn Hovakimyan said, presenting the results.
He said that 11 MPs voted for Armen Haykyants’ candidacy and 87 MPs – for the candidacy of Arsen Mkrtchyan.
Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Lena Nazaryan announced that Arsen Mkrtchyan was elected as a Court of Cassation judge.
