Snow reported in Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor provinces
Some roads are closed and difficult to pass in the territory of Armenia, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on Thursday. The roadways leading from "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to Amberd fortress and to Kari lake in Aragatsotn province are closed.
Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailer and difficult to pass for other types of vehicles. It is snowing in Martuni, Chambarak and Vardenis towns of Gegarkunik province as well as in Jermuk town of Vayots Dzor province.
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is closed։ there are about 428 trucks accumulated on the Russian side.
