Serzh Sargsyan, teammates pay tribute to Andranik Margaryan on his death anniversary
Today, March 25, marks the 14th death anniversary of Armenia’s former Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan. Politicians from the former ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Margaryan's relatives and friends have been visiting the Komitas Pantheon in Yerevan since early morning to pay tribute to the late official.
Armenia’s third President, RPA Chairman Serzh Sargsyan, former National Assembly Speaker Galust Sahakyan, former Republican MPs Armen Ashotyan, Vahram Baghdasaryan, Karine Achemyan and others have also visited the pantheon.
Andranik Margaryan (12 June 1951-25 March 2007) served as Armenia’s prime minister from 12 May 2000 until 25 March 2007, when he died from a heart attack at the age of 55. He was a member of the Republican Party of Armenia.
