Search for Artsakh war casualties being conducted in Jrakan, Varanda today
Continued search efforts to find casualties of the 2020 war in the Azerbaijani-held areas of Artsakh were unsuccessful on Friday, March 26, Artsakh’s State Service of Emergency Situations said on Saturday.
No bodies were found as a result of the search in the villages of Talish and Mataghis.
Artsakh teams continue search operations in the Jrakan (Jabrayil) and Varanda (Fizuli) regions today.
Since the start of the ceasefire, a total of 1,518 bodies of fallen troops and civilians have been recovered from the former combat zones.
