No bodies found in Tuesday’s search, Artsakh authorities say
Continued search efforts to find casualties of the 2020 war in the Azerbaijani-held areas of Artsakh were unsuccessful on Tuesday, Artsakh’s State Service of Emergency Situations said on Wednesday.
No bodies were found as a result of the search, the authorities said.
Search operations continue in the Varanda (Fizuli) and Jrakan (Jabrayil) regions today.
Since the start of the ceasefire, a total of 1,524 bodies of fallen troops and civilians have been recovered from the former combat zones.
